This carving which appears to be a trapper, is displayed at the front of the Bloomfield Pawn Shop at 708 W. Broadway in Bloomfield, New Mexico 87413. The trapper appears to be hunched over just a bit, maybe he is self conscience, or perhaps he gets a little stiff in the back when he comes to town and stands around too long, instead of chasing after critters in the wilderness. Or, maybe he is clutching his rifle to indicate he does not want to pawn it!
A nice carving, nonetheless, and he attracts customers for his boss, so he is active in the community.
