According to the Commerce Township site (
visit link)
"Crushed limestone trails allow handicap accessibility through the park. There is a covered bridge that opens up the park to more trails on the other side of Berry Lake. A picnic pavilion provides shelter place for people to enjoy the wide variety of wildlife that thrives on the lake. While the adults enjoy the wildlife the children may enjoy the play-structure over looking the lake. There are grills and picnic tables throughout the park for everyone to enjoy a quiet lunch while getting away from the fast paced life we are all used to."
This nature reserve is the home to the endangered Redside Dace fish. Upon my last trip there, I spotted 2 Blue Herons, 9 swans, several deer and many gorgeous wildflowers!
