A pseudo-gothic castle with typically red coloured masonry. It was originally a gothic fort which underwent fundamental reconstruction in the middle of the 18th Century. At that time the owners were the Mladota family, who owned the castle till 1948, when it was nationalised, and to whom it was restituted after 1989. In the second half of the 20th Century it was used as a Museum of National History and Geography of the Príbram and District archives.
