This beautiful Rose Garden is located on the east side of the Territorial State House (Utah's first Capitol) in Fillmore, Utah. There are many varieties of roses displayed here.
The garden runs the length of the building, about 60 feet, and is approximately 25 feet wide. The garden planting area consists of rectangular blocks arranged in rows with grass growing all around each block so that you can actually walk through the garden on the grassy path. The planting area is arranged in three rows, each row containing eight planting blocks. Each block is planted with a single type of rose and contains an informational plaque to identify the species.
