[DE]Dieser Hochwassermarker zeigt den Höchststand des Schleihochwassers am 13. November 1872 an. Nach einem heftigen Sturm drückten Wassermassen aus der Ostsee in die Schlei und überfluteten alle Dörfer an den Ufern. Das Wasser erreichte einen maximalen Höchststand von ca. 3m über Normal-Null.
[EN]This wall-mounted plaque shows the height of the flood of 1872. After a strong storm, water was pushed into the river Schlei and flooded all villages along the coastlines. The water reached a maximum of approx. 3m above sea level which was enough to put all the streets under water.
