From the Website:
"The Regional Science Consortium is just one of the many educational and research organizations establishing residence in the Tom Ridge Environmental Center at Presque Isle.
The Regional Science Consortium is a collaborative, non-profit organization that focuses on and coordinates educational and research projects for Lake Erie and the upper Ohio River Basin.
The RSC has been joined at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center (TREC) by the Friends of the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, the Lake Erie-Allegheny Earth Force, the Presque Isle Audubon Society, Pennsylvania Sea Grant, the Presque Isle Partnership, Presque Isle Advisory Committee and the Purple Martin Conservation Association.
In addition, the Tom Ridge Environmental Center is also home to offices for the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (the Bureau of State Parks and the Bureau of Recreation and Conservation), the PA Department of Environmental Protection’s two offices, and the Office of the Great Lakes and Coastal Zone Management.
The RSC benefits from a reciprocal relationship with the residents of the Tom Ridge Environmental Center. While the RSC leases space from the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, the department itself is a member of the Consortium."
