Historical marker denoting the location of the first tuberculosis sanatorium in North Alabama. The marker is located on Fairway Drive near Cahaba Road. The marker was placed by the Birmingham Historical Society.

1,000 feet East a small group of tents erected May, 1910 by the Anti Tuberculosis Association of Jefferson Count constituted the first effort to aid victims of tuberculosis in North Alabama.
