Mather Campground - Grand Canyon South Rim - Campgrounds on Waymarking.com

This campground is located inside the Grand Canyon National Park at the south rim close to Grand Canyon Village.
When we stayed here, it was freezing and therefore rather deserted, but we assume that during summer it will be crowded and reservation is necessary.
Yet, it is a great place to stay overnight. We met many deer on the campground in the evening when it was dark. And it's a great experience to walk over to the rim at night to admire the silent canyon in the moonlight.
Please be aware that there are restriction on the size of trailers/RVs. Pets must be kept on leash at all times.
