Te plaque on the bench reads:
"In Loving Memory of a Dear Daughter / Pamela Anne Mason / 17.8.59 - 24.2.85 / The music in our heats we hear / long after it is heard no more".
Most dedicated benches are either made from wood or metal. This one is completely different and unusual. It has two feet that are carved from stone with the seat, cast from concrete, sitting on the feet. There are arms to the seat and the back is upright.
The seat is at the west side of the church and overlooks the graveyard and is a peaceful location. There is a bench on the east side of the church that affords good views but is spoilt, slightly, by the incessant hum of the motorway traffic from the valley below.
