Monadnock Mills - Claremont, NH - Converted Factories on Waymarking.com

The Monadnock Mills in Claremont produced fine textiles from 1884 for almost a hundred years, and then the historic structures along the Sugar River transformed into other uses and long term vacancy for some of them. The old factory buildings were placed on the National Registry of Historic Places in 1979. A vigorous revitalization plan is underway.
