The Baptist Meetinghouse was built in 1829 by a local carpenter Albert Sharp. The church is in a transitional Federal/Greek Revival style. The clapboarded building has a two-story arched window centered between two flanking doors.

The building served its Baptist congregation until 1911 when the Baptist church and the Congregational Church merged to form the The Federated Church of Willington. Services are held in this building from May to mid-September and then they are held in the newer building (1911) from September to May.
