This Queen Anne style structure was built in 1899 and is painted historically correct. It features decorative wood shingles, multiple second story balconettes and has a multi-gabled roof. Peter Olfson was born in Farmington but later moved to Waupaca where he became a dealer in produce with warehouses in Waupaca and Iola. He eventually became one of "The Five" in potato commisions in the region. In the early 1900's through the mid 1900's Waupaca was known as "The Potato Capital of the World."
