Based on the Grumman S2F Tracker, a total of 99 CS2F Tracker were built by de Havilland Canada (under license from Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corp).
They were primarily used for Anti-submarine warfare and operated from the aircraft carrier HMCS Bonaventure and from shore bases.
They were re-designated the CP-121 Tracker with the unification of Canadian forces in 1968.
They served from Jan 1957 to Apr 1991 and this one was dedicated here on 29 April 1993.
