Verden is a small agricultural town approximately halfway between Chickasha and Anadarko, in Grady County. The town currently has a population of about 650. Most of the current businesses are located on another street. This building on old Main Street is currently vacant. It once housed Tiger Laundry, and previous to that was a drug store.
The ghost which reads "DRUGS" is painted on the upper brick wall of this one-story building. The building is boarded up and in disrepair, including portions of the brick side wall. But, in the past, it was a well-visited drug store for this community.
