It's not possible to determine the year in which this gazebo was built, although it was definitely between 1901 and 1926. It's an octagonal gazebo with Art Noveau influence. The lyre on the top reminds us of its initial task, as it was build as a performing place for the town's philharmonic orchestras.
It is located in the main avenue of Loulé and recently (2007) the town decided to bring a bit of fun to the structure by adding a set of sculptures representing musicians.
