Long Description:
The Phoenix was the American Saddlebred star of the show ring. His five World Championships crowned the many other championships he claimed.
To quote a portion of the plaque in front of the statue:
"Beyond the truths of such written records, he has emblazoned our memories and graced our lives with beauty, power, undaunted spirit and depth of heart that adorn a truly great and unique individual."
The statue is a life size bronze by Patrica Crane.
