This view is from above the Great Masson Cavern exit on the Heights of Abraham, above Matlock Bath in Derbyshire. It is accessible whilst in the park after riding the cable car from Matlock Bath railway station. The seats are natural rock formations on the hillside.
The Heights of Abraham is a favourite 'grand day out' place. Park in the railway station car park at Matlock Bath, signed off the A6, and after a short walk take the cable car which whisks you up over the River Derwent to a park laid out with children's activities, old lead mines, shop, restaurants and interactive displays.
