This stone gate called "Felsentor" is located at a hiking trail at the south slope of Rigi at an elevation of about 1200 meters. The hole is about 3 meters wide, 3 meters high and maybe 15 meters long.

The rocks are from Nagelfuh, a conglomerate type rock that is very hard and stable inside, but erodes easily at the surface.

The hiking trail leads through the gate. Just below there is a Buddhist meditation center, on weekends with good weather they have a little vegetarian restaurant.
