A commemorative bicentennial marker located on the SW corner of the Marion, Indiana, Courthouse property. Placed by the Grant County, Indiana, American Legion Posts. The marker is marble and concrete and has a mininature Liberty Bell inside its' casing. The bell is roughly 12 inches tall and fairly old and rusted. You can make out the 1776 and Liberty on the bell.

The marker has an American Legion crest on its apex and the marker inscription reads:

Erected by Grant County American Legion Posts To Commemorate Our Bi-Centennial 1776 1976
