The Fuller Block is located on the east side of Main Street between Bridge and Worthington Streets. It was constructed, in 1887, at a cost of $125,000 by Frank Fuller, a local industrialist, and designed in the Romanesque Revival style by architect F. S. Newman. It is constructed of red brick with sandstone trim and displays round arch windows on fifth storey and horseshoe arch windows at the third storey.
At the time of construction, the Fuller Block was the first to include passenger elevators, steam heat, a mail chute, and running water in each suite of rooms. It also has Georgian marble floors and wainscoting and a marble staircase. The building attracted many prominent tenants and businesses. Clothiers occupied the first floors and several physicians the upper floors. The building was renovated in 1986.
