The roadway through the farmland west of Lehi had an old single lane bridge to cross the Jordan River. It was built to cross at a good supporting spot at a narrow section of the river so that the bridge was as short as possible. With the new road and modern equipment a longer, larger bridge was constructed and straightened out the road. They left the old bridge in place and is now used as a walkway across the river.
