The Chapel of the Cross, located in Madison, Mississippi, was built between 1850 and 1852. It is noted for its Gothic Revival architecture. The church was originally constructed for the Johnstone family, owners of the Annandale Plantation. The church was active until 1903 and reactivated in 1911. The Annadale Plantation house itself burned down in 1924.
