This circa 1904 Colonial Revival styled mansion was built for Wilson Price Hunt. Wilson Price Hunt was the grandson of Anne Lucas Hunt. Anne Lucus Hunt's second husband was Wison Price Hunt who was the cousin of her first husband Theodore Hunt. Anne Lucus had inherited large tracts of land from her father including all the land which became Normandy, Missouri. Her second husband Wilson Price Hunt gained great fame as a partner of John Jacob Astor in the Pacific Fur Company. In 1811 he lead an expedition overland to what is now Astoria, Oregon to find better trading routes for the fur trade.
The Hunt house is currently used for offices including the headquarters office of a real estate firm.
