Long Description:
This intersection is slightly over a mile from my home. Three counties come together at this location, but only two different street names per road. In Hamilton County, the road has always been known as Olio Road, although the Mapquest program used to label it "Oil Well Road". It's official name and grid location in Hancock County is 600 West, but is more commonly known as Mt. Comfort Road in honor of the community and airport of the same name. And in case you are wondering, accidents at this location are handled by the Town of Fishers, Indiana, even though they are located farther away than the Town of McCordsville, Hancock County Sheriff or Hamilton County sheriff's departments. Best advice--stay safe and be cautious!
