This red, white, and blue windmill spins on the white barn north of Alta. The farm has been in the family since 1885 when the Danish family moved from Chicago after the great fire. The barn quilt was painted by the Buena Vista Barn Quilt Committee and can be found on the east side of 60th Avenue. It is #18 on the Buena Vista barn quilt map.
