This drawbridge main role is to provide access to the Cruise Liner Terminal of Rocha Conde de Óbidos, the main of its kind in Portugal. It's open between 07:00 and 19:00 (except if there are no ships in the terminal) and, of course, when some ship needs to approach the quay.
