This large fly was created by Patrick Vandenberg, an international chainsaw carver. The body of the fly is carved from a cedar log, the long stilt legs are made of tree branches and the setae (hairs on the fly's body) are corded threads from old window blinds. See if you can determine what is morphologically incorrect with this carving. I brought it to Mr. Vandenberg's attention and he was very good humoured about my observation.
