Lily Pond is a man-made pond in the northeast corner of Bushnell Park. It was created so that the park would have a water feature. It replaces a natural pond that was destroyed in the flood of 1936. The serpentine shaped pond has a pair of fountains, placed at the east and west sections of the pond. Both fountains can be viewed from either end or individually from the narrow point in the middle of the pond. They are equidistant from the narrow point.
