The Trail
The trails are gravel surfaced and are excellent for walking, running, mountain biking and horseback riding.

Pit toilets, picnic tables, benches and interpretive signs are provided at various locations along the main trail.

The River Valley can be accessed from the main trail head on Mackenzie Avenue across from Comer Street.

In addition to a large parking area suitable for RVs and horse trailers, the trail head provides a picnic area overlooking the River Valley and a kiosk with a map and information on the River Valley.

An excellent walking or cycling trail where you can get out and view other examples of the Cariboo eco-system is along the 11.5 km (7 miles) long Williams Lake River Valley Trail. This one-way trail follows the Williams Lake River from the mouth where it empties into the Fraser River upstream through a canyon. To access the gravel paved trail go to Mackenzie Avenue just beside Comer Street; here you can find a large parking lot and the trail head.
