This bench surrounding a lamp standard was dedicated to Bradford’s sister cities in 2011 as part of a regeneration scheme. A large part of the surrounding area had been resurfaced with natural stone paving and this was the finishing touch to the regeneration of the area.
The lamp standard already existed before the regeneration, the bench was then added with coat of arms of the sister cities.
