This Cemetery is on Main Street north of Hwy 12 in the small community of South Junction in the Rural Municipality of Piney, Manitoba.

The first settlers arrived in the 1900's. A Catholic church was built but sadly burned down. The spirit of the people could not be extinguished and so the second and current church was built in the 1940's.

Some headstones have been photographed by CanadaGenWeb's Cemetery Project and are available here: South Junction Our Lady of Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery. They list the first burial as 1922.
