The work, by Japanese-American sculptor Isamu Noguchi is entitled "News" and is described by the Smithsonian Inventory (visit link) thusly:
"Over entrance to building is a relief panel depicting five newsmen using various tools of their trade: writing pad, telephone, teletype, wirephoto, and camera." This is one of many notable artworks on the buildings in Rockefeller Center.
