Sub-Constable A. McIntosh
Members of the Northwest Mounted Police who died in 1874 at Fort Dufferin during the march west and are buried in unmarked graves near this site.

As well as a benchmark on the bottom of this cairn, there are two Canadian National Historic Site Plaques on this cairn:
