The earth globe stands approximatly 10ft tall, and has a small spiral staircase that lets you climb to the top of the earth. Using your hands, you can start the globe rotating around its axis but it will take some effort to get the earth to rotate 360 degrees as it is heavy.
The continents are shown in relief.
The earth globe is located outside of the Planetarium on the grounds of the Prater, the local amusement park located in the Prater district of Vienna.
