Rheinfall is 150 meters wide and 23 meters high. The average flow of 700,000 liters/second makes it the largest of Europe. It was created during the ice age 17,000 years ago.
The waterfall is located between Neuhausen and Laufen-Uhlwiesen. There are observation platforms on both banks. Or you can take a boat to the rock in the middle and climb to platform on its top..
