"Kent Lake is on the Huron River in Livingston County, Michigan and is used for recreation purposes. It was built in 1946. At normal levels it has a surface area of 1.6 square miles. It is owned by Huron-Clinton Metro Authority.



Kent Lake Dam is of earthen construction, a gravity dam. Its height is 20 feet with a length of 294 feet. Maximum discharge is 3800 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 12000 acre feet. Normal storage is 9600 acre feet. It drains an area of 147 square miles."
