The Funcho Water Dam is located in the municipality of Silves, being fed by the River Arade and is located upstream of the dam of Arad.
The construction of this dam was completed in 1993 and its primary use is the irrigation of farmland in the region. The area of its watershed is 200 square kilometers and the reservoir has a usable capacity of 42.75 million cubic meters.
