I was heading home from work the other day and admiring the Victorian Post Box when to my left appeared a CBM. Lucky us I say!
The OS Benchmark website has the following description:
Location – TQ34006823, Mark Type - Cut Mark, Description – Norwood Junc Sta NW Face 18.9m N ang, Height – 52.2874, Order – 3, Datum – N, Year Verified – 1978, Metres above Ground – 0.2.
Stand facing the station, go left past the ticket machine, cachpoint and Victorian Post Box, Keep looking down and you will find it.
To the right of the station entrance you will find another mark on the wall, three vertical lines but no horizontal line. Maybe it’s just marking “services”.
The address of the station is:
Station Road, South Norwood, London SE25 5AG
Type of Trigpoint: Cut Bench Mark
Condition: Good
Number on Flush Bracket: n/a
