The Block School is located at the intersection of County Road "K" and North Water Road in the Township of St. Lawrence about one and a half miles east of Ogdensburg, WI. The district was officially known as Joint District No 5.

Block School is a brick-covered wood structure aligned east and west with three windows on each side. The total cost of the school building was $975. The attractive cream brick school has two windows on the east end and two windows beside the double-arched door on the front end. The basement was placed under the school in 1904 and the floor was eventually cemented in 1915.
