Col. Edwin L. Drake served as the churches first Warden and Treasurer and his wife Laura sang in the choir.
When you are looking at the pictures and see a part of the building sticking out on the right side this is where the Baptismal Fountain is located.
There are several great looking stained glass windows in the building but you really have to be inside to see how well they are made. At one time there was a wooden hatbox near one of the pews where Col. Drake kept his rather tall and famous hat. The box is now part of the collection at the "Drake Well Museum"
