This statue in front of the Courthouse, at 361 University Avenue, represents a jury. There is one space that does not hold a figure and you are supposed to imagine yourself there. I've never been on a jury and have mixed feelings about that.

Pillars of Justice is a 20-foot-wide steel sculpture consisting of a stylized courthouse façade, whose pediment is supported by two rows of columns shaped like human beings. Edwina’s concept of human-columns represents the twelve-person jury—the part of the legal system in which the public most often participates.
In Pillars of Justice, there are only eleven pillars. Edwina has intentionally omitted one human-column so that a person can stand there or imagine being in the vacant space and “become” the important twelfth juror."
