This bridge was one of the original places to enter the village for people on foot. The adjacent road bridge was once a ford. As with all packhorse bridges this is built of local materials, the local limestone. It has two buttresses with a large slabs of rock across. The side walls are deliberately low to allow laden horses over. The path either side is well maintained. Grade 2 listed structure.
