A plaque for Gicianto Ferrari on the promenade in Llandudno.

The italian-born Ferrari was a 'must see' for Victorian visitors to Llandudno. He was known as the 'Bird Man of Llandudno'.

The plaque is bi-lingual, the English text reads:


GICIANTO FERRARI
1847 - 1923
Promenade entertainer. His preforming bird show
outside the pier gates was known
over a wide area.
