Long Description:
This course begins near the park rest rooms, and has a mix of hilly terrain and trees along with several straight forward holes. In addition to independent recreational play, the Northern Michigan University Disc Golf Club uses this course for their league play. Several of the tees are dirt, but others have been seeded over and are mostly grass.
Al Quaal Recreation Area is a year around facility with tennis and basketball courts, and a fitness course besides disc Golf for warmer weather. In the winter there is skiing, both downhill and cross country, as well as snowmobile trails.
