Gemalter Nothelferaltar an der Stirnwand des Seitenschiffes.
Der Altar mit den 14 Nothelfern (Flügelaltar mit Sprengwerk) wurde um 1425/30 geschaffen - die Darstellung der Nothelfern ist in 8 Feldern zu sehen (je zwei Nothelfer befinden sich miteinander im Gespräch), neben der Muttergottes und dem heiligen Jakobus ist auch der Stifter zu sehen. Es gilt unter Kunsthistorikern als Besonderheit, dass in der Gotik ein Fresko als Altarbild diente. Es wird vermutet, dass der Gemeinde das Geld nach dem Anbau des Seitenschiffes ausgegangen war und sie sich nur einen gemalten Altar leisten konnte.

A painted Nothelfer altar at the front wall of the aisle.
The altar with the 14 Holy Helpers (triptych with truss) was created around 1425/30 - The depiction of the Holy Helpers can be seen in 8 fields (two helpers are to each other in conversation), in addition to the Virgin Mary and St. James is also the founder to see. It is among art historians as a special feature that in the Gothic a fresco served as an altar. It is believed that the church had run out of money after the cultivation of the aisle and they can afford only one altar which was painted.
