Overlooking the Black River in Dexter is a great ice-cream place we always visit.

As for Lickety Split - it is a regular spot we go to all the time when in Upstate. Nelson and his crew give great service and make GR8 ice-cream.

There are two geocaches within 1/2 mile of the stand.

Dexter is a village in Jefferson County, New York, United States. The population was 1,120 at the 2000 census. The name is derived from Simon Newton Dexter, one of the village's stockholders. (wiki)
