Named after Thomas Jefferson, Jefferson County's Administration and Courts building features a sit-by-me of Thomas Jefferson. He is working on a draft of a document (Declaration of Independence) using his famous portable desk. In reality, since the Declaration of Independence was a treasonous document, he would not have done this in public!
The piece is available Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. There is ample parking and no security checkpoints to enter the lobby area.
