Offa's Dyke pub has a small bar at the front and a much larger lounge at the back. Barrels serve as tables, except outside where they adorn the frontage to the pub proudly proclaiming the Offa's Dyke Brewery.
The sign depicts a landlord sampling his wears in a cellar. The name 'Offa's Dyke' is the name given to the very long dyke built by King Offa to create a barrier between England and Wales. Oswestry is right on top of this barrier dyke. More information on the Dyke here:- (
