The quotes by Bill Hewlett and Bob Noyce are etched into the front of the museum.
Noyce was known as the Mayor of Silicon Valley, and was the co-founder of Fairchild Semiconductor in 1957 and Intel in 1968. Bill Hewlett was one of the co-founders of Hewlett-Packard.
The Hewlett quote reads: "An abiding curiosity and an insatiable desire to learn how and why things work are the hallmarks of innovation . . . Creativity is nurtured by being receptive and encouraging"
The Noyce quote reads: "Optimism is an essential ingredient of innovation. How else can the individual welcome change over security, adventure over staying in safe places?"
