This frieze is comprised of about 25 triangular metal columns mounted above the Pace Plaza Building's entrance. Each column has crudely geometrical images of people...apparently intended to represents a variety of careers... one can see musicians, businesspeople, a baker, a cleric?, a dancer?, and many other less obvious individuals.
The poster of this waymark couldn't find any information about the frieze or its artist.
With many campuses, Pace University is centered here at Park Row- once known as Newspaper Row. The University is a private institution with over 14,000 students (over 4,000 graduate students) and over 1,200 academic staff members.
